Law enforcement requests

Last updated: October 2026.

escortbrazilian.com works with police, prosecutors and courts when the aim is to protect people and investigate crime. At the same time, we do not hand over information about advertisers or visitors to anyone who simply asks. This page explains how we balance the two, including for authorities outside Brazil.

What the site actually holds

As a directory, very little. We keep profile content, technical access logs, messages sent through our forms, and the history of complaints and removals. We hold no record of meetings, motel or hotel bookings, meeting addresses beyond what an advertiser chose to publish, or payments, because none of that passes through the site. Calls and chats between advertisers and visitors happen elsewhere and are not visible to us.

Requests from police and courts

We disclose user data when presented with a court order, a formal demand or another valid legal instrument issued by a competent authority. Without one, the default is not to disclose.

Emergencies. When someone’s life or physical safety is at immediate risk — for instance, a suspicion that a person in a listing is a minor or is being held under someone’s control — describe the emergency and explain how the information would help. These requests are dealt with before all others.

Preservation. If a formal order is still being obtained, an authority can ask us to preserve the records linked to a profile until it arrives. We will do what we can to keep whatever exists at that point.

Requests from anyone else

Lawyers, companies and private individuals receive user data only on the strength of a court order. We may ask for further documents showing how the request relates to the case. Informal requests, however well argued, are declined.

What to include

  • the requesting body, and the name and position of the person signing;
  • a case number or other reference;
  • a copy of the order or formal demand;
  • the exact address of each profile involved, plus its display name where there is one;
  • a summary of the facts and the period of interest;
  • which data you need and why;
  • an official channel for our reply.

Send everything through the form on this page with Authority request in the subject line. For an emergency, add Urgent.

How long data exists

We do not keep everything forever. Removed profiles, technical logs and old messages are deleted once they are no longer needed, as our privacy policy describes, and deleted material cannot be brought back. We cannot promise that a given record will still exist when your request reaches us.

Telling the user

For civil requests, we may let the user know before we respond so they have a chance to defend themselves. We do not do this in criminal investigations, where someone is at risk, or where a secrecy order applies.

Disclosure in other situations

Even without a formal request, we may share information with the authorities when it is reasonable in order to:

  • meet a legal obligation;
  • protect a person in danger, above all a child or teenager;
  • look into scams, fraud or blackmail carried out through the directory;
  • take action against people who break our terms of use;
  • keep the site and its servers secure.

Nothing on this page creates a duty to keep or disclose data beyond what the law already requires.
